Creative Optimistic Visions is excited to introduce to you our Urban Arts – Fire in the Youth Finalists. We have a fantastic group of up and coming aspiring artists from #coventry aged 16-24 years working hard on their personal and professional development in the music industry. 

Inspired by The Rap Game UK and funded by Youth Music and The Arts Council, over the past few weeks up until the end of March, artists are being tasked each week to put their music ability to the test to win our Fire in the Youth competition which will win them a full day professional recording studio and a full days filming of their very own 4k music video. Artists will also achieve an Open College Network West Midlands qualification in Personal Development and an Arts Award.

On the 26th March, they will all be performing live at The Tin Music & Arts Centre. Performing with our very own special guest from the BBC Rap Game UK. (All to be revealed very soon) Winners will be announced at the live event.

This is the core value of Creative Optimistic Visions and all of the  programmes we deliver. The Urban Arts project uses the learners personal music influences to inspire their learning, broadening their mind and applying material to the knowledge our group already have!.. Life!

Applying Protective Behaviours and our OCN qualification to their life journey, enhancing individuals future prospects. Learners will learn we all have the right to feel safe all the time, taking ownership of thoughts, feelings and behaviour, reflecting on the power of choice.

 

We have finally got a date to run The Urban Arts Project at Peoples Place, Stoke Aldermoore, for Easter time! Very exciting!
